Delray Beach NW Neighborhood Improvement Project

The City of Delray Beach and the Community Redevelopment Agency are beginning a series of improvement projects in the NW Neighborhood Improvements area bordered by Atlantic Avenue to the south; Interstate-95 to the west; Lake Ida Road to the north and Swinton Avenue to the east. The city will be coordinating with the residents with several public outreach functions throughout the design of the project to keep the residents informed.

The scope of work includes traffic data collection, concept development, design, and construction of various improvements including drainage, utilities, lighting, pavement rehabilitation, upgrading pavement markings and signage, pedestrian and bicycle improvements where required, traffic calming and landscaping.

Refer to Exhibit 1 for the streets and alleyways included in the NW Neighborhood project.

Project Area

The project area runs from some I95 East to Swinton Avenue and from Atlantic Avenue North to Lake Ida Road.
